Description: No date. Edmund Jones was on Warren Welch's list of Quantrill guerrillas living in 1911. Both John and William Crockett were guerrillas from Vernon County. John was captured by Union soldiers on September 2, , 1861. He was killed with Hugh Gantier by Manuel Collins in Montevallo Township, Vernon County. Ref: Brophy, Vernon, 1887, Branded as Rebels.
