Description: Men on horses: Bill Chadwell(L), Jesse W. James (C), and Charlie Pitts (R). Man standing on right is identified as "Lanky Bob" Younger. You can see Jesse's missing finger on the right hand (reverse tintype image, actually the left hand) in this image. Myers identified this image was taken by E.A. Baldwin's Traveling Saloon on May 4, 1876 before the Otterville train robbery which was on July 7, 1876. Myers says, "taken on Captain Gregg's farm." Myers also states "they were armed to the teeth and told by Mrs Gregg to hang them in the barn as she would not allow firearms in her parlor."
