Description: Myers collection image of I.M. Askren, noted in Myers journal as being "taken by E.A. Baldwin in 1883". Baldwin and Askren were later partners in a photography business between 1885 - 1892. This is a very important image document in the Myers collection because it establishes that Gus Myers had access to not only the E.A. Baldwin images and records but also of those belonging to I.M. Askren who was, along with Baldwin, a traveling photographer in the Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Texas, and Indian Territories during and after the war.
