Description: This image in CDV is of Jesse W. James and his daughter Mary Susan James. It was taken in Kansas shortly before he moved to St. Joseph, Missouri. The James family were visiting the Cole family at the time. The COLE family was Jesse's mother's family (Zerelda COLE James). The image remained in the Cole family in Kansas until it was sold by the Cole relative in 2007. It is UNQUESTIONABLY Jesse James and his daughter Mary Susan! Image purchased from major Civil War dealer Rick Mack.
