Description: An original tintype photograph circa 1880 of Jesse James when living under the alias of Mr. Howard, close to the end of his life. The mat is ID'ed as Jesse James in pencil on the reverse in early, contemporary handwriting. The image was recently in the Rick Mack collection but originally came from an earlier collection in Blue Springs, Missouri.
